The Pestova/Meyer Piano Duo has recently embarked on a major undertaking of realizing Karlheinz Stockhausen's masterpiece for two pianos and live electronics, MANTRA. We are happy to announce that we are about to release MANTRA on CD on the Naxos label.

As many of you know, record labels rarely support the actual recording process, leaving most of the production costs up to the artists. Therefore, we would like to ask for your support by donating whatever you can to the project.

While we do not have a suggested donation amount, we can give you an idea of what you can do. MANTRA lasts 70 minutes. According to our latest financial calculations, every second of music will cost us approximately 0.70 Euro cents. This means that as our sponsor, you can “own” 10 seconds for 7 Euro, 15 seconds for 10.50, 20 seconds for 14 Euro, and so on. In return for your help, we will list your name on our website and put a link to your website along with the seconds that you sponsored (if you know the piece well, you can even specify your preferred sections!). You will also have the opportunity to write a 50-word statement describing why you have decided to help us. Alternatively, you can also stay anonymous.
